Lufthansa Group Resumes Flights to Miami, Announces COVID Testing on Arrival in Frankfurt

This week, Lufthansa Group announced that it will continue to ramp up services to the United States, resuming flights to its key, global gateways such as Miami, effective immediately.

On Tuesday, July 14, the Group’s flagship carrier, Lufthansa, resumed service in Miami, operating three weekly flights from Miami International Airport to the airline’s largest hub in Frankfurt, Germany.

The airline also recently announced its partnership with leading diagnostic company, Centogene, to offer certified PCR COVID testing to passengers arriving into both Frankfurt Airport and Munich Airport to help travelers avoid quarantine in various countries. This is a first-of-its-kind effort in the airline industry, making this a unique health opportunity exclusive for Lufthansa Group passengers. Those who opt to take the test will be provided with results within four to five hours via an app link.
