What to expect during your consultation for Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is an eyelid surgery and it is a surgical procedure which is used to improve how your eyelids appear. The surgery can be performed on lower lids, upper lids or on both of them. You can get the surgery if you wish to improve how you look or if you suffer from functional problems with the eyelid. The surgery will improve the area which surrounds the eyes and will make the face look rejuvenated.

Why a Blepharoplasty is performed

The surgery is used to treat sagging and loose skin which may disturb natural contours over the upper eyelid or which may create folds which impair vision. Fatty deposits may appear as puffiness on the eyelids while reducing the bags under the eyes. The surgery can also be used on drooping eyelids which may reveal the white below the iris or too much skin with fine wrinkles on the lower eyelids.
